INCOIS is a leading institute in the field of operational Oceanography with a specific objective to provide oceanographic information and advisories to public and other stake holders. The services of INCOIS are supported by focused in-house research and development activities. INCOIS has research collaborations with several national and international oceanographic institutes. INCOIS invites applications for Ph.D.programme from motivated candidates with a first class M.Sc./M.Tech. in Marine Sciences/ Oceanography/Atmospheric Sciences/ Earth Sciences/ Meteorology/ Physics/ Mathematics. Candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by CSIR/UGC/DBT/DST or GATE or should have provisionaly selected for INSPIRE Ph. D. fellowship. Candidates who have cleared the UGC-CSIR NET without fellowship, if selected, will be offered fellowship from INCOIS as per INCOIS norms. Selected candidates should register for Ph.D. on a specific topic with one of the recognized universities within two years of joining under the guidance of the scientists of INCOIS.

If the certificates are in a language other than English or Hindi, then attested translation should be uploaded.
